Need help with alt casing

Got the alt from Brett today, anyone have any bright ideas on how to get the damn casing off? The screws are rusted in place and the heads are rather soft. Got all the screws off one alt but the casings seem rusted in place. Had I known how much of a bitch this was gonna be, I would have just saved up.
