Diagnose: severe clunking

I wouldn't rule out the wheel bearing as far as the clunking goes. this
weekend I pulled the drivers axel out of my cabby because of a clunking
sound thinking it was a CV joint go bad. at low speeds it sound like hammer
hitting the lower control arm intermitently. With the axel out and just for
fun I spun the wheel and it turned, clunked the ceased. I tried it a few
more time and it would do much the same thing every time. After removing the
hub the peices of the bearing wear easily removed. I was pleaslenty
surprised, and saved from buying a CV.
anywho just my lil tid bit of the morning, lol
