A3 seats into a Scirocco

I am about 85% certain that they will fit in the rails.  However I have
heard that the later seats are much taller sitting than the stock rocco
seats.   If I am correct the only seat which has a lower seating height is
the corrado seats, otherwise they are all higher up.  Another thing to check
is wether the A3 seat has the height adjustment - which is essential as far
as I'm concerned.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

I just got for cheap (40 CDN) two A3 GTI front seats. Anybody has ever
fitted some of these into a MK2 Scirocco?

Even if I need to fabricate mountings a little bit that is no big deal.

They are really clean, and mine are ripped, and dirty. Oh please will they
fit?
