coupla questions

Yeah, I will, most likely tommorrow. Between moving in, returning from Cincy and work, it's been hectic. The Prime rims are a 5 star design, hence the click sound. It's a metal on metal click, speed related and it's definitely a part of the caliper hitting the rim. When I left Daun's it wasn't constant, but frequent and was just a ever so slight click. Now it's very audible and constant. I pretty much know WHAT the problem is, I just don't know WHY.

Bouncy ride = oversprung/underdamped.

Caliper rub is scrap/squeal, not click.
Pull the wheels, for crying out loud, and see what's going on......

Subject: coupla questions

On the mk2, I have unknown lowering springs (I think neuspeed, probably sports), unknown shocks and my strut bearings (bushings?) are pretty shot. The car handles great on turns with very little lean, but it's bouncy as hell. When I take turns, all the little dips in the road really toss it. Why is that? Also, the rims rub on the front calipers. It wasn't much at first, but now it's turned into a definite clicking sound and has worn a little groove in the rim. I think it's just the driver's front, maybe passenger side as well (haven't had time to pull the rims yet). Why are they rubbing? They're Primes, the same that Chuck Blue has on his car. Chuck, do you have this problem?
