Valuable lesson



I agree.  There were so many indicators screaming at this guy to NOT buy the thing.  It amazes me that he 
didn't check the VINs on the body panels before laying down $10k (BMWs have VIN# indicated on every body 
panel).  

This story reminds me of my KC from Utah trip a few years ago after my 88 16V was wrecked.  My story 
wasn't nearly as bad but I'm glad I walked away from that misrepresented car after travelling halfway 
across the country to pick it up.
