headliner compatibility (70's to 80's Gti)

I was wondering if anyone knows if the headliners from the 2-door 70's
rabbits with the sunroof fit into the 80's 2-door rabbits.  The reason I am
asking is because the 70's headliners are made of a stronger and better
looking material than the stupid cloth 80's ones that always frikken fall
down.

I appreciate any info
