I don't know the exact service limit on these. But over the many years I've been into roccos, I have never heard of anyone changing or needing to change this chain. It sort of a engine lifelong part. Now the timing belt on the other side, thats a whole nother beast. Brian 86 16v 98 Jetta Vr6
