resuming work on the twin

I was told by a Lincoln welder representative that you can weld 4130
with a MIG welder if you get the proper filler rod. TIG welding is
probably best, and I've seen a few cro-moly chassis that were brazed.

ok, i'll be blowing the dust off of the old webcam and getting my ass
back
to work on the twin. i still have to wait on some of the necessary parts
(due to lack of fundage), but i will be doing a bunch more cutting and
stuff
on the frame, in preparation for the materials when they arrive.

does anyone have experience working with 4130 alloy tubing? i've been
considering using this instead of mild steel.

anyhow, off to the garage for me:
