Battery charging (blue wire again)




So can you suggest an effective method of "helping out" the exciter 
circuit while maintaining the warning light?  Ever since I went with the 
gas MFA cluster in the diesel I have to rev the engine to get the alt to 
self excite, which sucks, because my W-terminal tach doesn't start up 
until the alt is excited... :(  Although I can find no difference in the 
exciter circuit on the diesel cluster, it always fired right up.
