PP backing plate necessary?



be sure to use locktite on the threads. that plate acts as a buffer, which i
can only imagine was to help keep the bolts in place. i really see no other
useful purpose for it. also, i have found this plate on everty teardown i
have done, so long as it came from the factory untouched, that is.
