Couple quick answears on bars



Agreed. I've been doing some reading on that lately,
but I wouldn't say I'm educated enough to pick the
appropriate alluminum alloy.

However, everywhere I looked, 4130 seamless tubing
appeared to be the easy choice for a home-made steel
bar when considering easy weldability, strength,
price, availability, etc...
