I'll second that.  Take the battery out and loosen up the airbox so you can get to the battery ground cable.  Replacing it would probably be good, but cleaning all three ends of it got rid of these symptoms for me.  While you are at it, clean the positive lines to the starter and the Alt.  There is also a small ground strap from around the coil to the back of the intake manifold.  Might as well clean that one, too.
