Porsche vs. Scirocco: (kill story)

I have to admit...a good story. It's always a great feeling to spank someone that isn't expecting it (i mean this both literally and figuratively). I love to dish out the pain w/ my GTi. No one expects to be toasted when I pull up w/ a "Golf" and rev my engine. After about 2 seconds, when I leave them in the dust...well, you get the picture.
It must have been completely more satisfying to do that to a Porsche w/ your Rocco, though!!

FLAVOR00-NONE-0000-0000-000000000000;I hope this post works, The Porsche I raced was a newer style 993 sc, I believe-definately after they remodeled the bodystyle of the 911. I know that, given a greater distance, they could have eventually caught up and passed me- but from 70-130mph (as I figure), I left them like they were driving grandpas stationwagon. Twice. All in all it was a good day for Sciroccos worldwide! ;^)

Not sure which Porsche you are refering to here...

The Porsche 911 SC that I know of was available from 1978-1983 with
a 3.0 litre flat-6 with CIS injection of all things. The engine only
produced 180 hp in a shell that weighed about 2600lbs.

I still love to hear stories about our *old* roccos beating up on
the *big* guys! ;)

I really can't wait to take my mk1 to the track again this year and frustrate
more Porsche owners... only this year I should be able to pass even more of
them with the engine I'm preparing... ;)
