ebay item--Crack free dash (rieger fun on way home)

    the cracks in the riegers dash were just as small as the ones in =
that dash... until monday... until that favorite left turn on the way =
home, you know, the one where i hit a hard left just before a crest, =
resulting in the rieger catching slight air while sliding sideways, =
adding even more yaw while hovering briefly, and finally landing at =
about a 30 degree angle to the road, where i resume my drift until the =
turn is completed, and anyone coming the opposite direction has surely =
shat their pants.
...but on monday i learned that the dash is in fact a 'stressed' member =
of a scirocco, as i watched a crack crawl from the defrost vent, =
straight forward, about 3 inches towards the windshield. all of this =
occured during the landing/sliding portion of my turn.
...argh, oh well, guess i'll have to send one of my dashes to that =
recovering place.
