things i'll do with the twin, err, well, not *that* crazy



I've actually driven a car like that...   a guy in Wisconsin built several
"parade cars" that required 2 drivers, and I was the auxiliary driver for
awhile.  His creations were featured in Car and Driver magazine in approx
1986?  We got to be a pretty good team...   but sometimes I'd get a little
dizzy   :)

He built one out of a couple VW Rabbits, one out of a couple Honda Civics
(two front ends welded together, one seat facing each way, only one engine).
He also built and MGB with the rear axle moved up under the doors...   with
a set of casters under the rear bumper.  He could "balance" the car on the
driving axle (which was lower than the front wheels) and drive down the
street on two wheels, side by side
