Track Day - anyone ever go to one of these? (this one Willow Springs)

The price is right!

I do the time trial days that my auto cross club holds at Limerock and
Pocono. The advice I give to people who want to try it is... show up and
work a corner for part of the day (they'll probably buy you lunch). You can
get a feel for how they run the event, see if they separate the cars for
ability. For that matter do they put the novices out together or mix them in
with the fast cars? Seems to me that being there is the best research you
can do. It will settle your nerves too :-).

Then when you finally do try it you'll be saying stuff like I did. "Why did
I wait 50 years to try this?" "How could I have wasted so much time?" "How
can I go faster?" "Where is the next drivers school?" "I have to wait 6
weeks for the next track day, damn!"

You'll be hooked.
