Alternately if your engine management incorporates boost control, you
can simply bypass the pressure transducer and run only the knock sensor.

One nice thing about the APC is that it's very easy to tweak it to
provide more base boost as well as more high RPM boost. Also, it's a
pretty smart system for keeping you from nuking your engine. You can
also buy pretweaked ones from companies, but they run about $125.

I have this complete system being wired up for my turbo.....kinda of a
safety net as I learn about boost and how not to burn holes in pistons.

I do have all the install instructions and parts list printed in a
binder at home for anyone really interested. The whole system can be
had for under $25 at a local pick a part or look for the brain on e-bay
from an 86 an newer SAAB with APC....then you can scrounge the rest of
the parts cheap from any year APC car.
