I remember seeing a newer Scirocco some time after I bought mine with
the cool black w/silver "Scirocco" lettering.  Then, on closer
inspection I noticed they were (gasp) plastic.  I decided to stick
with the aluminum extrusion ones at that time (and haven't changed my
mind).
