speaking of FF tranny...



Dan, the FF is fine if you're just tooling around in your normally aspirated
car. And, it is very fine, indeed, if you've got a turbocharged beast. It
has practically the same ring & pinion ratio as the 4k, but has wide ratios
after that. If you want to go fast in your non-boosted car, however, the
wide ratios will not be helpful. -particularly if you've cammed your engine.
Also keep in mind that you won't be able to install a differential shim kit
or be able to run 100mm drive flanges. That's the skinny of it.

P.S. Keep in mind that the 2H trans has mostly the same ratios as the 4K,
except it has the same drive flange and no-shim restrictions as the FF.
