Ignition Gremlins



Actually, a draw on a system should be measured in amps, or milliamps but if
you don't have that option then you could use volts for now.  Hook up your
multimeter between the battery + cable and the battery + terminal (this will
show how much the system is drawing from the battery) and watch the reading
as you pull the fuses one by one (remembering where they go when your done).
Remember to have everything off and if you have to do this with the door
open either push the door jamb button in or disconnect it somehow because
you will see a draw from that.  Once you find a circuit that reduces the
draw (by pulling fuses) install all the other fuses and focus on that one
area.  IF you don't find the reason for the draw by pulling fuses then it
will be something that doesn't go through the fusebox or maybe something
that has a fuse elsewhere.  Aftermarket additions often cause these problems
like alarms, stereos, amps, cell phones, etc.  Good luck!  Let us know what
