True to a point but you would be surprised when you need what. At
Buttonwillow I get better times with the top end power. At Pahrumph I
found the low end torque was much more beneficial to my lap times. Then
there is the dialing in of what works best by not going full advance or
retard of the cam. I think they call that dialing it in or, tuning. 
For the street driver, probably doesnt matter exactly where you set it
but the most beneficial setting will be for low end torque. Thats where I
set the 84 for the wifes daily commute. On, BTW, I let her drive her roc
for the first time today since she wrecked my 82. Want to punish a wife?
make her drive the tow vehicle for 5 months to and from work. (85 El
Camino)
