OT: Success! (was: Unwise files)

For some strange reason, I tried a password that I use for very few things and success! I was able to access the Admin rights.
 
I did a System Restore from yesterday and it took. Thank God!  and thanks to all of you.
 
Now I'll be updating my virus registry and D/L'ing that AVG setup.
 
Don't know exactly what happended, but the UnWise is a unistall program that several programs use. Somehow it appeared to have corruprted my win.ini or something significant in the system registry. It wouldn't allow me to access my XP CD (even with the admin PW) and it corrupted MANY shortcuts and there were even several files I couldn't open (double-click or right-click/open)...
 
I hate computers!  :)  This has subtracted at least three hours from my wrenching...
