[OT] Directway and Web Server Need Help !

well I can slap my router with 3 pcs and they can all
access the internet just fine, but had to change the
default router IP address (disconnect the modem from
router and reconfigured it first ) to something
different from 192.168.0.1 (linksys uses it and
conflicts with modem from direct way and is probably
the same issue with your earthlink modem), once I
change the internal IP of the router to use
192.100.10.1 and use DHCP on PC's on network I had no
issues at all with networking internally behind my
router. so all PC and printer use 192.100.10.x address
and my router uses the 192.168.0.x internet address
and routes it to the pc properly...

well looks like I am going to have to find a hostinig
company for my web sites....saw one not long ago that
ran 99/month for 100GB space no restriction) I need to
track them down again and compare again rackspace
rates , time to get a real server I guess... lol
