For one thing, the pill is called RU-486. The RU has NOTHING to do
with "Are You", it is a contraction of the French pharmaceutical
manufacturer Roussel-Uclaf. But the more important question is, RU-469?

For another, as multiple people have pointed out, "86'ed" has NOTHING to
do with the RU-486 pill, and predates it by decades.

It's intolerant bleeding heart PC crap like this that gets people fired
for using terms like "niggardly", which has nothing to do with certain
phonetically similar epithets.
