Euro light adjusters

I want to order some new euro light adjusters, but I let the lights at home and I'm at work. Do you really need both fixed and adjustable position adjusters or can you use all adjustable ones? Man, all of the little extras sure are making these lights pricey, it's like I'm buying a 16v part :^)
