euro light & wing questions

On my rocco Euro lights, will the adjusters from the
American spec lights fit on the Euros ?

On my Mk1 jetta, I got a really rare zender trunk
spoiler for it. I have to prep it for mounting now.
Under  the leading edge there is some resedue from the
old adhesive. What a good way to clean that up? I
tried acetone and it didn't work. Any bright ideas,
please ?
