Window troubleshooting help...

There is a type of a cable that runs the window up and down and it runs
through a silicone tube when it is rolled all the way down. The tube
sometimes comes off and the cable gets stuck in some of the crevices of the
door frame or it has gotten rusty and hard to crank. Either way, it is an
easy fix. Either reattach the silicone tube and lube the cable throughout
or swap the regulator. The regulators are the same in most A1s so finding
another one will be easy as they don't go bad very often. Another helpful
slick-em-up is to use the silicone spray in the felt channels. It will make
the channels smoother but not greasy. I use to use a Toyota version of the
spray when I worked at the dealership on newer cars even. HTH!

> My window recently became hard to open and close. Problem is, it gets
really tough rolling it up right at about 3/4 the way up. Then it kinda
gets normal for the remaining 1/4. Same thing going down only not as bad.
Seems like it gets stuck in the same spot each time.

Plus, I don't know what to be looking for, so I figure maybe some of you
have done this before.
