Goodle searches will turn up lots of host rating sites. I just went =
through this in the last two weeks since my host at the time was really =
in the crapper and I was sick of dealing with excuses.

I just moved my site to this host =
http://www.enterprisedigital.net/index.htm and so far have been very =
happy with only being there for just over a week. As for a domain, I =
would suggest using http://www.register.com since they give you full =
control over your domain via control panel. This way you don't have to =
pull teeth if you ever move your site to a new host or need to make =
changes. Stay away from Verisign/Internic/networksalutions or whatever =
they are calling themselves these days. While all the changes they have =
made (moved everything to control panel as well) make life easier, they =
are still confusing at times and take longer for changes to take effect. =
If there are any other questions I might be able to help you out with =
in the area, just ask.

William

Subject: OT: Is there a resource that rates Web Hosts?

I'm on the cusp of purchasing my own domain and was wondering if =
there's a resource (e.g., like a CNET) that rates the Web Hosts in terms =
or Cost, reliability, etc.?

I've really only looked at a couple and I would not say I'm =
overwhelmed, per se; I just would like some sort of breakdown on =
services offered and such.

  TIA! JT
