Recently a friend of mine tried it in his 85 Golf, and he said it worked wonders.
No more lifter clatter and it has a smoother powerband.
Note the main component is Naptha (as in Napthalene, commonly found in moth balls. I remember when I started working on cars the older mecahnics swore by putting moth balls in your fuel tank it kept the carbon deposits and varnish away, I guess maybe it works.
I will be trying it in the near future myself.
