Sorry! I didn't mean to say you were stupid. As far as
I know, it could really be aluminum...but probably
not.

"Aluminized" steel is cheap steel that has been
covered with a coating of aluminum to provide some
level of corrosion resistance. If you're not in the
rust-belt, it'll still last a long time. If you're in
snow/salt land, it won't. :)
