headgasket + head p&p questions

Do it.

It is worth it. The motor gets more responsive. more torque/hp, more
responsive all across the band.

I had the same tought last summer, and here is the result:

iam gonna replace my head gasket within a few days and iam thinking about
porting and polishing my cyl. head as well while its off.. any one that has
done this? about how much did it cost you? and was the power increase worth
it? iam gonna be putting an a1 dual outlet manifold on when i put it back
together to that should help thigns out as well.. i only have minimal mods
(ported TB, Intake and some what of a larger better flowing exhaust) so will
the P&P be worth it?

also how much oil and coolant will spurt out if i dont drain these before i
pull the head off? i dont feel like draining my oil and coolant and letting
it sit around as i wait to finish my car (i just changed oil with castrol
synthetic and brand new coolant aswell is in there so i dont want to have to
replace it all again)
