brake bleeding q

  okay, so being more of a cheap ass than ron, i took an old reservoir
cap and fit a tire valve through it. i then used a bike pump to add
pressure to the system. worked fine for the one line that we had almost
bled (got much more air out). tired it on the other rear wheel and got
nothing. when i went back up front to check on the status of the fluid,
i noticed that the reservoir has expanded due to pressure. i release the
pressure and tried again. same thing. i moved up tot he front wheel and
tried bleeding it, but same problem. it's like the lines are plugged
or...? any ideas? this should be more-or-less like pressure bleeding,
right? any info would help. this is becoming more than a little pain.
