(Semi-OT) Help me choose a new car

Hmmmm...'82 Scirocco 16v with 10" brakes, 4-wheel disks, BBS wheels, and
Recaros. Yeah, I like that one! OTOH, $2500 is way too much for a Jetta that
you're just going to part-out. Find a <$700 beater for that.
