A2 control arm in A1?

Ok, the scirocco.org sight is messed up so I couldn't search for this 
question I know has been aswered before. Will an A2 control arm (driver's 
side if it really matters) fit in my scirocco? I have tons of them laying 
around and it sure would suck to have to but another one for this car.
