To the collective,
I operate a professional furniture repair/restoration shop, and I also
do mirror resilvering for customers. It came to my brain that I've
already replaced all 6 mirrors on my cars, 'cause the silvering has
failed. I know that lots of VW mirrors tend to go bad, so I thinks to
myself I could offer the list my services to restore all them failing
mirrors out there.The dilly-o:
It's cheaper for me to do mirrors in big batches rather than one at a
time, so if I could get a bunch of mirrors in I could pop them out for
$5-10 each, depending on how many I can get. Of course I'd appreciate
them being removed from the housings (rear views and sides), but I'm
sure I could make things work.
If there is any interest in this, please let me know. I'm located in
Southern Wisconsin.
