16v Injector Shrouds...

Hello All,

Recently, when I had my cylinder head p/p, etc., I
found that a couple of my injector shrouds had pieces
broken off of them.  Other than the fact that my
head/engine chewed up the broken pieces, are there any
problem running the injectors with the broken shrouds?
 I'm going to be changing them out soon, but until
then am I causing any damage to my injectors, etc.?
