tranny leak-where is it?

????
On the driver side the seal is pressed directly into the case.
On the passenger side the seal is pressed into a formed steel tube that is
pressed into the case. This tube is puke green on every 020 box I've seen.
In any event it's no big deal to look at the tranny for 2 minutes to see if
the seals are seated or not.
On the passenger side you will see a green tube sticking out about 3/8".
It's normal. If you can see the seal sticking out of that, it's not normal.
I still think he's seeping out his vent if he's overfilled as he suggested,
but, ya know the tranny can only leak so many places and we're all just
playing grab-ass here guessing.

Drive shaft flange seals
shift linkage seal
clutch pushrod seal
clutch lever seal
speedo cable seal
gaskets (two each)
vent
end cover
and last, but definitely not least, the reverse gear shaft bolt (13 mm hex
on the bottom of the case that looks like a drain bolt)

I'm thinking it's one of those.
Dan
