.ORG members visit Montreal

Montreal is one hell of a town, thanks *A LOT* to Paulie and company for
showing us around! Having an evil tour guide like Paulie was the key to
our good time....

Paulie's white rocc is so solid and a dream to drive! Flying down the
highways at 120+ MPH in 100 KMH zones sure was fun, definitely similar
to Getaway in Stockholm!

Here are my 23 pics from this weekend:

> Well, this weekend Getty and I ripped up to Montreal to visit
> with the Botch and Nigel.
>
> The best way to sum up the weekend was what Paul(Paul is
> Botch) said when we left the Hilltop "We are all going to
> hell for this".
> -----------
> Sadly my piece of crap wasn't working well, so I couldn't
> take it. But the bright side was that I (and everybody else
> pretty much) got to drive Marcs brandy new C230 Benz that he
> picked up over in Germany.
>
> Let me tell ya, that car is nice!! Once Getty gets it chipped
> and a few other go fast goodies done, and the suspension
> tweaked that car will be really nasty!!
>
> So anyways, Marc and I get to Paul's about 4:30pm on Saturday
> afternoon and then for the next 3 hours we hunted for a
> friggin hotel room, the whole city was sold out. Once that
> deal was done, Paul and a friend of his named Nick (who had a
> Subaru) came over to the hotel, and picked Marc and myself
> up. After an extended period of driving all over hells half
> acre, we had located Jason (the guy with that very sweet red
> mkII golf from WF), Nigel, and another A1 16v rabbit guy
> named Ivan, and of course Showtime!!
>
> Then we headed out to hit downtown Montreal. The ride there
> was friggin insane, both Getty and I had the same though
> while we rode in separate cars, we both compared it to
> Getaway in Stockholm, if you haven't seen that extreme sick
> movie, you MUST go search the net for it and download it!!!
>
> We got downtown and proceeded to drink like fish, Paulie, as
> normal showed that he cant drink since he vomited at the 1st
> bar we went to! After wandering around and checking the place
> out we staggered back to our cars with a sober Nigel to
> escort us back to the hotel.
>
> Once we got back, I dealt with a lil'somethin'somethin while
> Getty, Botch, Nigel and Ivan kept their party going in the
> other hotel room.
>
> I woke up the next morning at about 8am, and discovered that
> I needed to order up another batch of somethin'somethin, so I
> wasn't ready to head out till about 10:30am. At that time I
> discovered that Getty is NOT a morning person since he didn't
> seem capable of functioning till about 1pm.
>
> Once he did get up, we went for an extended cruise on the
> highways and byways of the area, and discovered that AMG
> Benz's were a dime a dozen up there.
>
> I finally got hold of Pauly, waking him up at around 2:30,
> while Marc and I were doing about 120mph on a highway chasing
> 2 AMGs with another Benz behind us. Paul once again showed he
> was a lightweight, because he cried for a good 1/2 hour once
> we told him to get his ass in gear couse we wanted to do some
> real drinking!!
>
> So after Marc and I got back to the hotel, we had time for a
> mid afternoon nap to ready ourselves for the night since Paul
> didn't show up till about 6pm, I decided to not opt for some
> more somethin'somethin' at that time.
>
> So Paul and Marc and I went off, found a nice little
> bar/restaurant where we started drinking, and Paul managed to
> track down Ivan again, and also the "Doctor". It seems the
> Doctor has good ideas when it comes to clubs to really party
> at, and he marched us off to the Hilltop.
>
> Getty had been kinda bummed out since he claimed to have not
> gotten drunk the night before, so our goal was to get him
> totally blasted. This took about 1.25 hours. I looked over at
> him while we were sitting at a table and he had a massive
> shit eating grin. So I promptly ordered him up a couple of
> more shots of Godlschlagger.
>
> By this time Ivan, Pauly, the Doctor, and myself had all
> "taken care of business" so we managed to peer pressure Marc. :D
>
> We left The Hilltop and found a sweet Mini S in the parking
> lot which we fondled for a few minutes, then we piled into
> Ivan's car and drove off to pick up Pauly and Marcs cars from
> where they were left.
>
> Now, I had stopped drinking awhile before when Getty made it
> clear he was hammered, Pauly and Ivan had also not been heavy
> into booze so we thought we had the driving under control.
>
> I get out and expect Marc to have me drive his car...not
> gonna happen.. Marc decided that he was fine to drive, and
> after we all protested this decision we finally had to relent
> as long as he would follow Paul, and Ivan and I would follow
> him. We went down some side streets and even though Marc had
> some minor issues, it seemed that he should be able to make
> it as long as he stuck behind Paul.
>
> We got to a main intersection where we were turning left onto
> a divided highway, this is where shit went wrong. Marc for
> some reason decided not to stick behind Paul, and got set up
> heading down the wrong side of the divided highway. At 1st we
> thought he would blast a fast U-turn, but that idea was kinda
> sunk when Marc decided to just floor the Benz and get to the
> next intersection about a 1/2 mile down the road. Thankfully
> there wasn't any traffic and there were no cops.
>
> As soon as Marc got back to our side, we adjusted the driving
> situation a tad, needless to say the madman was banished to
> the passenger seat for the rest of the ride.
>
> We got back top the hotel about 3:30 or so, and kept the
> party going for a few, then crashed and burned.
>
> When we were finally able to function enough to leave about
> 11:30am, Marc discovered he was still a bit under the weather
> so I got to drive the Benz all the way back to Albany.
>
>
> In about 2 months we are planning another reign of
> destruction up there. So any victims that might want to join
> us should sign up!!
