Key problems!!! any clues???

Hmmm...AFIAK, having been into a few some time ago, once you go to the
RUN position the key and tumblers have done their job.  You may have
something amiss with the switch itself, but I doubt the lock.  Maybe
the steering wheel lockout but I doubt it.

Careful on that "percussive maintenance!"
