WTB: 9.4" brakes and calipers, 100mm spindles

Been a frustrating day...sob story below, but heres the q:

Anyone have a set of "MkII" Girling calipers and carriers they don't need?
How about a set of spindles that will work with 100mm axles, maybe even some
axles?

Read more if you want to hear me vent about my novice 8v A1 experience...

In an attempt to update my '77's front end before the engine is complete, I
rescued some spindles/brakes/axles from what I believed to be an '85
Scirocco in the junkyard (had the bigger rear wing). AFAIK, the later ones
had the "good" 9.4" calipers with 100mm axles (not the "stingray wings" that
came on my '77). I thought I had scored big! But when I got home, I realized
they were 90mm axles and spindles. Strike one & two.

Well, at least the spindles had the larger ball joint socket (upgrading from
the '77, which used tiny little ball joints), so I put the spindles & brakes
on with my new control arms and delrin/poly bushings. The guy I bought my
wheels from said he used a 1/2" spacer on the front to clear the brakes, but
they still didn't fit! WTF? Did he make a mistake? Even worse, it was clear
that the little bit extra scrub raidus caused rubbing on the fender. RTFM:
Consulting ETKA reveals that there were in fact THREE different calipers for
the 9.4" brakes. I thought there were only two, and of course I had found
the Keisley Hayes with the funky asymmetrically sized inner/outer pads and
the big extra brace/hoop on the pad carrier (the probable cause of my
fitment problems). Strike three.

So I pretty much wasted a bunch of money & time at the junkyard. NOTHING is
useful. And Sciroccos are tough to come by in the junkyards around here.

If you're still reading, thanks for listening! Anybody got parts?
