a few solutions....

 to the few problems i've recently posted about.
1. racing idle with heater/defroster on. i removed the a/c relay and the 30 amp a/c fuse. problem solved, idles fine with heater/defroster on.
2. snapped axle shaft. on suggestions that it might be somekind of shaft alignment problems i swapped out my a-arms and hubs. so far so good, i haven't snapped another shaft yet but will have to hold off to give it a little more time before i declare the problem as cured.
3. yellowish tint to my "low" euro beams. strippied out the old low beam wire and ran some new, thicker wire to my headlights. problem solved, both low and high beams are now bright and clear.
   hth anyone with the same problems or who were following along trying to find a cure, and thanks to those who provided advice and insight into finding these cures.
