Yep, Jasin is right, the Nuerburgring is great.  It's open to the public 
for a nominal fee per lap...

With that said, it's also incredibly dangerous... which is the reason it 
was closed for races to begin with.  Kind of insane that the Nordschleife 
was determined to be too dangerous for racing, so they opened it to the 
untrained public...

Either case, it's worth doing a lap.  Just be sure to do it when there 
aren't a lot of other people around.  The track can get very congested -- 
and when you have 1960s VW Buses on the same track with E46 BMW M3s, there 
are some serious speed differentials...  Just be careful!
