Digital Clock - 12hr vs 24hr?

IIRC, you need to push in both buttons next to the clock and hold them for a
couple seconds.  I remember setting the 24hr clock on both my 86 GTI and 82
Scirocco when I had them and am pretty sure this is how it was done.
