"current loss" - no such thing. you've developed a voltage loss, as its all being dropped across an open wire/connection somewhere. most likely one of those previously overloaded wires became hot/brittle and finally broke, leaving nothing at the ignition switch or starter. check the voltages again at the same places as before.
