[OT VR6 Autotranny] Houston Area: mechanic required

as 90% of you can guess the tranny broke.
I have a friend in the area and he needs a mechnic that will actually do
the work that is not the dealer.

i belive its a 1997.
it is a VR6 auto jetta. its currently being driven, but there is "water"
in the tranny. So if you all know one there or one in the area that can
help lemme know i'll forward the info.  other plans will be entertained.
the owner is "upside down" in the car ie. he ows more than its worth
fixed.
