who has too much $$$ and wants to spend it in a "good" way?

i kind of agree with adrian. there have also been some others on the list asking for a later date. now while these people coming at all may be sketchy, the possibility of them coming at all and making it cheaper for the rest may be worth the gamble. to be honest, even i wouldnt be able to hack this trip if it was a mere 6 months from now, as im wrapped up in the twin. hell, i'm currently moving into a place with a garage. despite the extra room for the family, the garage was a key factor. anyhow, all of this crap going on here means theres no way i could afford a germany trip, even with a military flight and no car to bring there.

how about postponing it a bit ..
somewhere about june - july ..
because i already have tickets for Paris (departing Toronto on June 22nd ) with a open return time ( was planing on staying with my relatives for about 2 months or so which will be all over europe ... mostly about 2 weeks at each one of them )
im going anyway .. but it would be cooler if there are more ppl going and wel would all meet up

5000$ on a credit card is cake man!
shit, start saving now, you have 6 months! And if you split the cost with another person (say you and Brett take his car) that takes about 1250$ off the shipping, then splitting hotel rooms, and splitting gas/etc.
Heck, I bet 2 people can do this for 3000$ each (that includes some play money of course!) that's only 125$ a week! And if you do what Im going to do, and that's to only have half in "cash" and use a Credit Card for the other half, that means you only need about $60 a week!!!!
