How's the Dynomax muffler?

JUNK!!!!! I burned out the Dynocrap super turbo muffler that TT sends with
the exhaust systems three times within a year. I realize I was running a
non cat, non resonator system on a 2.0L 16v but still, that is way too much
to be calling yourself a performance muffler!! I'll never use them again
unless it ends up being the cheapest replacement for the Town & Country!!
Anyway, I have had much better luck and performance from factory performance
stainless mufflers. What I mean is that the stock 16v scirocco muffler
(with no cat/resonator) works nicely and lasts a long time. I currently
have a Stainless muffler from a 95 Saab 900 Turbo and I am running it on the
same free flowing system as above. It is deep and semi quite but gets nice
a loud with RPM and has great back pressure. Adding the Saab muffler
actually increased either the torque or hp of my car in a very noticeable
way!! HTH!

> Well, my second Flowmaster is sounding worse and worse (the first one had
bad chambers, I think this one does too), so I'm gonna go with the Dynomax
next. Anyone care to share their opinions? Sound? Power?
www.scirocco16v.com has an article where he put on a Dynomax and lost lots
of pull, but that was on a 2.0L. 1.8L here, nearly stock (TT cat-back +
racing header).
