bit of confusion on exhausts

Well, I don't know why I didn't think of this before, but does anyone have good aftermarket muffler reccommendations? I'm looking for something along the lines of low purr/growl as opposed to high, annoying buzz. I have some Audi muffler on now and it doesn't sound like much at low rpms but when I step on it and get into the higher rpms its got a really nice, deeper hum. Here is what I'm looking at for mufflers. I'm going more for looks and sound than performance.

I prefer 2 and 3 because I know how the exhaust travels in them and I know what's inside, where as #1 could be stuffed with cotton for all I know. Also, 2 and 3 are straight through. 2 has the typical canisters on rice cars which makes me leery of the fartcan sound but 3 is a bit expensive.
