help needed ...

I'm wondering why you would want to ruin a nicely built 16v by putting on
carbs....but to each his own.

Do you have the parts to convert the ABA to 16v specs?

Your best piston option is to call TT and get their ABF pistons or try the
G60 16v list and see if any of the european guys have pistons for sale.
Other than that, you will need to use JE custom $$$$$$ pistons.

IF you get ABF pistons you can contact www.headgasket.com about a thinner
headgasket that will get you to 11:1 compression.  Or try to get the VW
motorsport 16v HG that I have heard raises compression above 11:1

For 16v headers, just watch the Kotex forum or surf e-bay religiously.
