[~OT] Parting Passat (cross-flow)??

Yeah, I bought my Passat in '95, and the other option at the time (vs. my VR6 engined PAssat GLX) was the 2.0l cross-flow Passat GLS. I was pretty sure they built them in '96 and '97, too, at least they were listed as an option up through '97, but no one bought them once the TDI's came out in '97. I never saw many of them (even though I worked at a dealership in '97), but I did test drive one.
Somebody buy this cross-flow and motronic for cheap so I can get this car!!! I've all but decided to just go ahead and get the thing, but that doesn't seem responsible. Hah!

Where are you? I don't remember a Passat ever coming with a 2.0L cross flow
8v. I don't think they came with a 16v in 95 either, only VR6s, I think!
So, you either have a 94 and it's a 16v or it's a 95 with a VR6, or your
from Canada and who knows what they put in those things. I've heard of G60
Sychro Passats up there so there's probably some other interesting combos
too!
